How did you come across the group?
I was looking through a few affiliates on another group an decided to join this one, it just seems like a really active and friendly group. (A friend had also recommended it to me a long time ago on my older account, so I decided to rejoin with this one :3)

What was your first impression of the group?
I really liked the way you decorated the homepage with those little pixels, it also seemed pretty organized as well. As for the gallery, the sidebar is so cute Aaaa.

What prompted you to become a member?
To share my art and view other people's art within the community, to gain new ideas and stuff for future doodles.

What would you like to see happen in this group?
Maybe a few art contests n stuff, that's always fun. Other than that everything else fine.

:star: How did you come across the group?
I was looking through some affiliates because I currently need new groups where I can receive more
exposure for my artworks.

:star: What was your first impression of the group?
I thought that it looked nice and the front page is also lovely organized.

:star: What prompted you to become a member?
Im currently looking for groups to meet new people and gain exposure for my works.
And maybe some events to take part in.

:star: What did you percieve as the overall idea of what the group is or stands for?
When looking at the name it stands for accepting all kinds of artworks and styles. And also
maintaining a healthy community.

:star: What are your thoughts about the rules?
They are fine and understandable. It answers most questions a potential member could have.

:star: Thoughts on how the homepage looked like?
It looks nice, I like the decorations and its well organized.

:star: Any concerns or questions that you need answering?
Are there any quality standarts? (im very insecure about my artworks being of enough quality to be included in groups)

ah yes. When taking pictures, it has to be the best possible lighting it can be if a drawing is on paper. I just want it to be light enough so everyone knows what t is they are looking at. Other than that none coming to mind. ^^

First of all, I would like to apologize for the late response

- How did you come across the group?

I was scrolling through DA and somehow, I manage to stumble upon your lovely group.
I took a quick skim through off what this group is comprised out of and decided joined it in the end
Needless to say, I'm really enjoying it so far :D

What was your first impression of the group?
Honestly, my first impression wasn't that good if you asked me
I thought this was some kind of #animediehard group that circulates around
nothing but manga and anime; discussing how to accept anime and so on xp

(Sorry about judging the book by its cover too quickly, i really regretted making this moveDoh! )

What prompted you to become a member?
I know this might seem like a generic answer to say but,
I like that this group has a diverse collection of art from artist of all levels,
Most of the people seem nice and all, and not a single hate sprouted out from anyone else so far
And also the originality, creativity, and acceptance of this group

What would you like to see happen in this group?

More people joining and contributing :D
Everyone playing their part and try to submit more of their beautiful art to this group

What did you perceive as the overall idea of what the group is or stands for?
Acceptance, Individuality and Improving as we all go along

What are your thoughts about the rules?
So far, I don't see any rules that bother me or so which for the most part, it's perfectly fine with me

Thoughts on how the homepage looked like?
DON'T CHANGE IT,
because it's awesome the way it looks already

Any concerns or questions that you need answering?
I dunno but, this response may seem out of the box but....
can you take a look at my latest submission: sansmonumental12.deviantart.co…
Yeah... this may seem like self-advertising but.... don't think of it as that way.
Think of it as a...uh... personal recommendation.
Recommending you to check my page out XD

On a more serious note,
Maybe you can give some advice,  critique or constructive criticisms on how to improve my artwork
See what I went right or wrong for this drawing
I just want to get others opinion on my artwork (It seems okay to me, but I don't know how it looks to others)

I also want to see whether it's like....  suffice enough to submit it to this group and be accepted Sad Drunk  (Art skills ain't good enough......yet)

Thanks a ton for investing your precious time in reading this response
I hope I can contribute more for the future of this group

Alright thanks for your feedback. So how would i make it come off less anime like? I mean .w. i dont have an icon and I used one of my own drawings . Ive gotten good and bad reviews on an Original icon so i dont know what to do about it. Also, If you want critique, There is a folder for that ! I go through that a few times month.

- How did you come across the group? I was looking at a friend's drawing and saw they had submitted it to this group. Then visited this page and decided to join because it looked interesting and, more importantly, active!

- What was your first impression of the group? I really liked how the page was decorated, and also the text is very nicely decorated with all those tiny, cute pixel icons! Rules and journals are well described; one can tell you put a lot of care and thought into elaborating them.

- What prompted you to become a member? Pretty much everything I've just mentioned. This looks like a fine place where I can meet new people and have my art promoted.

- What would you like to see happen in this group? Good question. I'm new, so I don't really know what to say... Maybe simply see it grow and get more and more (active) members!

- What did you percieve as the overall idea of what the group is or stands for? By looking at the icon and the tag line, I thought this was an OC-oriented group. Like, a group only for original art, not fan art.

- What are your thoughts about the rules? They seem fine! There's nothing I could really complain about. Although I don't really understand what you mean where it says "All Art Is made by yourself, not an engine". What engine?

- Thoughts on how the homepage looked like? It's so pretty! Seriously, I'm sorry for repeating myself, but it's one of the things that made me want to join this group.

- Any concerns or questions that you need answering? Ummmh... I don't think so!

Oh! I see now :D Thanks for explaining!

I would've probably checked the group out even if I hadn't seen the icon on my friend's deviation. As I said, this looked like a group about OCs (nothing wrong with having fan art on here as well, by the way! :aww:), and group icons with original characters on them somehow appeal to me :)

1. I was looking for a group which accepted every kind of art, like, every kind of genre because I can't find the right group to submit my art. And also I think this group is full of inspirational art works.
2. This group is full of potential.
3. (#!)
4. I am very excited about your group's event ^3^ (Even though I don't really have time right now, but I'm still waiting for the next event '3')
5. (My English is awkward but I will try my best to express how I feel) I perceived that in this group, this group is for everyone, and no one is being left out.
6. I'm good '3'
7. Neat!

1. I was looking for more diverse groups to submit my craft arts to.
2. My first impression of the group was that it has potential.
3. Same as number #1.
4. I would like to see this group grow, in both number of members and diversity of artworks. I'm sure it has the potential to become quite large and active here on DA.
5. I perceived the idea of the group to be one of acceptance and diversity, in that no artist should feel left out because their works might be unique and different.

1. Thank you for the invitation, it's nice to see people whom actively seek out other members as it can be a bit of a daunting task to find a group.
2. I don't have to much to say right now, I'll give more input when I can but so far everything seems really nice.
3. I was sent an invitation, took a look and accepted. Given that I don't know to much about the group I was willing to give it a go.
4. Hmmm... that depends on the growth of the group and given it's respected contributers.
5. Artwork of varying type and degree, to possibly give light to up and coming artists and possible help those whom are willing to ask. (constructive but it should be said that sometimes people can take it in a negative light so as to take it with a grain of salt but understand that it's not a bashing, but instead constructive critism.)
6. The first rule can be a bit hard for new artists as some new artists do use other artists artworks as a medium to start with, should be said that if they give credit to the original artist/ image. But I am also wondering if this applies to fan art as well?
7. It's a good start, lay out it easy to read and follow, rules are there and easy to read as well. contribution folders are set fairly to their respected media and everything seems off to a good start.

I believe the first rule your speaking about is that all art is made by them not an engine. This literally means what it says. They have to make it. Fanart is fine, i have folders fo rit. As long as they draw it by their owns hands and stuff, ill take it in the fanart folder.

1) I was invited by :iconautumnpgeer: (thanks!) and I said myself... why not? I'm still trying to improve myself and this group seems the right place to do so ;)
2) An active community of improving, promising artists :) I think it could be a nice environment to share opinions and help each other improve ourselves!
3) As explained before, I'm a hobbyist / someone who likes drawing and wants to get the best out of himself. I want to make my style better and I found out that the best way is to have a look at other people's art and comment/try to understand what I like/what I don't like in each work.
4) Obtaining / giving honest and constructive criticism without hate or pride. Aren't we all here to learn? =P
5) Everything fine with the rules, I just need clarifications on this one: Group Members can only submit Art here
Does this mean that a deviation submitted to another group can't be re-submitted here even if we'd like to have some feedback, or am I interpreting it in the wrong way?
6) see previous point =P BTW I'd stress what :iconshyameimaru: said in her comment: even if I don't usually draw yuri / yaoi, maybe the rules in this sense could be softened a bit - that is, evaluating case by case instead of banning tout-court. In any other case, I'm perfectly fine with the ban on mature content!

Okay, kinda schematic, but I'm like this when it comes to surveys ;) Hope it was useful enough and to start soon contributing to the community =D

thanks for the feedback!! I can see that this is bothering some people with the yoai yuri rule! Ill deal with it dont worry.

ALSSSO XD That rule where group members can only submit here, i mean it in a sense that other DA members cant just submit their work here without becoming a member of the group. This rule arose from the fact that someone became a member, submitted their work, then left the group. Ill find out about things like that, that Is why the rule is in place.

If you have any other questions and concerns, please tell me! I like to clarify things that best I can.

Ah, this makes things clearer ;)
I didn't think about those "masters of the ninjutsu art of the submit&run", since I've never thought about doing something like that in the first place: I find this behaviour extremely disrepectful, especially towards the members of the group that instead are acive part of the community :/ So, Alles in Ordnung, good idea banning it preventively ;) Thanks for the reply :D I'm sure I'll have a great time here around ;)
P. S. Maybe you should rephrase it as "only group members can submit here", which is less prone to misinterpretation :)

Sort of. Andrea is my real name, but Jens has been my nickname for a really long time during my university studies (five years!). You know, in Italy (my country of birth) Andrea is a male name (and not female like... well, in 99% of the other countries), so I usually append "Jens" on forums to remove a bit of confusion and not to be incorrectly classified as a girl :) I've dropped using strange usernames some times ago, because there's no difference between the real me and the digital me, they are both the same person! I'm just quite happy with my name, so I don't see a reason not to use it :D

1) I was invited by you!

2) I'm a little nervous when it comes to groups so I'm kinda intimidated a bit (」゚ロ゚)」 But the people here seem to have some good talent and come off as friendly!!

3) I want to befriend more people and get my art out there! Not to mention this is the first time a group has asked ME to join! I'm overly flattered!

4) uhm.. I not really sure what what can be done in a group besides share art and do contests so I'm not sure ʅฺ(・ω・。)ʃฺ??

5) As for the rules.. They seems pretty straight forward like most rules but the thing that bothers me is the no yuri or yaoi.. it seems like it could be offensive to leave out different sexualities from being drawn.

6) Just to clarify on the Yuri and yaoi (It's my only concern) The rules against hentai and mature content will surely keep anything along those lines from being submitted to the group! Just remember that Yuri and Yaoi are japanese names for a gay couple in anime or manga. Most Yuri and Yaoi I've been asked to draw has been sweet kisses and hand holding! Nothing is really sexual about it unless it is made sexual! Then it's smut! So I would like to implore you modify those rules!

So thank you for bringing that little fact up. I was actually thinking of modifying them. But thank you for bringing it up to me straightforward like that. It is very appreciated.

Also, Yes i Invited you and i hope everyone is friendly here. xD I mean i havent seen any violent breakouts xD.

1. I don't exactly remember, I think it was through another user, and I was looking for nice groups to share my art.

2. It looked very inviting, encouraging people to join and share their art with people.

3. I guess I was looking to join more groups. But I wanted to find nice groups, I've joined a few groups which have loads of people and plenty of submissions per week things and I found I wasn't really as engaged in those groups. I like groups that seem to have a bit of character, and ones where I don't get overloaded with watch notifications... I guess it's hard because most groups want more members and stuff, and people like to submit their art so restricting them can sometimes be annoying.
Ahem, anyway...

4. I'm not really sure what I'd like to see happen in this group. I know contests are supposed to be good but I don't think I've been around on deviantart long enough to enter many contests, and I have yet to improve my commitment to making pieces of art quickly.
Features are always nice I think, having a monthly, or even weekly feature of an artist, or several artist's top works submitted to the gallery.
Again, I don't really know.

5. I like the rules, I think that was one of the things that made me join. They seemed easy to understand, easy to find. They also seemed similar to my general interests. As in, I'm not really a fan of excessive nudity and other offensive stuff like that. I know some people like it so it's hard to please everyone.
And of course, the best rule; "But most importantly, have fun!"

6. No questions or concerns at the moment, just having fun!
